Aye. The higher the level the more direction you can give your catapults when selecting targets. Also, you will need it at level 15 for a Tournament Square.

The purpose of the tournament square allows your troops to travel faster the higher the level. It comes in super handy when sending reins out, or even attacks for that matter.

Anyone know of a quick way to gather resources fast. Been trying to get my palace to level ten for forever and the waiting is driving me NUTS! Thanks

Raiding is a great way to get resources. Just don't bite off more than you can chew.
